 Requirements: 
ABRAMS, the premiere publisher of art and illustrated books, seeks a dynamic and inventive Associate Marketing Manager to oversee the Comic Arts, humor, pop culture, entertainment, and lifestyle categories. In this role, you will develop and execute creative and interactive marketing campaigns working closely with authors and the editorial, publicity, and sales staff. You will be a part of a fast-paced, hardworking, creative, and fun-loving team and play an integral role in shaping the marketing initiatives to promote our distinguished books and authors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute creative title-specific and category marketing campaigns
• Work with authors and brand partners to capitalize on promotional opportunities
• Oversee creation of promotional materials and advertising, working directly with sales team, internal designer, and outside vendors
• Manage ABRAMS presence at Comic Arts trade and consumer shows (Comic-Con San Diego, New York, and MoCCA) and author events, as well as support exhibit duties at major shows such as BookExpo
• Represent ABRAMS in meetings with prospective authors and contribute feedback to the acquisition process
• Conduct and analyze market research and write metadata-driven marketing copy

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of marketing experience, specifically in book publishing
• Demonstrated experience creating marketing collateral, catalogs, sell-in tools, and ads
• Knowledge of social media platforms and ability to implement digital marketing strategies
• Strong initiative and judgment. We are looking for someone with the ability to pay attention to detail while taking charge of complex projects and campaigns from start to finish
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential; TMM, Edelweiss, and InDesign are a plus
