 Requirements: 
DK, the award-winning publisher of nonfiction illustrated reference books and travel guides, seeks an Associate Marketing Manager to join the US team. Reporting in to the Associate Director of Marketing, this person will be a critical pillar in executing strategic marketing plans and the needs of the sales department for adult reference and travel-related titles.

The Associate Marketing Manager:
* Executes and manages strategic marketing plans for DK adult titles, DK Eyewitness Travel Guides, and Rough Guides brands.
* Works collaboratively with colleagues in the UK office to develop global plans and share content and ideas.
* Keeps publishers informed of marketing strategy, plans, and outcomes.
* Acts as a point-person for social media and e-newsletter marketing outreach, monitoring conversations daily and creating content in coordination with the Senior Online Marketing Manager.
* Writes descriptive marketing copy for online retailers and sales catalogs.
* Creates marketing materials to support the sales teams.
* Participates in and organizes trade show and special event materials when appropriate,
* Manages the budget and forecasting for the adult and travel budget lines.

* Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing; publishing experience preferred
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and balance multiple priorities
* Good knowledge of social and digital media platforms
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Apps
