Global Lion Intellectual Property Management, Inc and Viking/Penguin Books are proud to announce the acquisition by Kathryn Court of two major new nonfiction books from Sir Ken Robinson, again working with Lou Aronica, in a world English sale.
Sir Ken Robinson is the author (with Lou Aronica) of the New York Times best-selling book The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything (Viking/Penguin) and its forthcoming sequel, Finding Your Element: How to Discover Your Talents and Passions and Transform Your Life (Viking May, 2013). The first of the two new titles to be published by Viking in the spring of 2015 is on the subject of education. In Sir Ken Robinson's view, our approach to education has, for decades, stifled children's potential innovation and creativity. Now, he believes, we are in a position like never before to create highly individualized teaching strategies that could allow many more children to tap into their potential.
In the second book, Robinson will examine why creativity is lacking in the workplace. Instead of occasional on-demand innovation, businesses and organizations must adopt a sustained and systemic model of inspiration for all levels of employees.
Based in Los Angeles, Sir Ken Robinson is an internationally recognized leader in the development of creativity, innovation, and human resources.
Lou Aronica is a long-term publishing professional who has authored and co-authored fourteen books, including the national bestsellers The Culture Code, Blue, and The Element and Finding Your Element with Ken Robinson.
