Simon Says
July 23, 2010
Author:  Denise Railey
Category:  Fiction: Women's/Romance
Description:  Recently separated and fiercely independent, botanist Natalie Bryson would like to avoid any serious entanglements with men, and just enjoy her research trip to England. But when she overhears a ghostly quarrel between two male figures, she turns to London psychiatrist Roger Davenport for help. As Roger grasps at plausible theories, the haunting escalates, and the combatants begin reaching out to her. To distance herself from these alarming events, as well as Roger's growing affections, Natalie decamps north but soon finds herself involved with a disarmingly gorgeous Scottish farmer, Duncan Daimhmorie. In pursuit is not only Roger, intent on wooing her, but also Simon, a spectral souvenir from the 13th century who wants what Natalie has denied him for seven centuries – forgiveness. While she juggles her romantic options, Simon spouts a steady stream of spectral persuasion, sparking the belief that it's easier to move on when you don't look back.
