You must register to use the Publishers Marketplace premium services.
While anyone may view our members' Web pages and rights postings,
all of our other services are available only to members.
The basic fee of $20.00 per month gives you access to all our features. You can:
- Receive the longer, premium Publishers Lunch Deluxe by e-mail every
work day.
- Access new deals daily; opt to receive a daily deal e-mail; and
search the deal database containing thousands of transactions.
- Search the Who Represents database of authors and agents.
- Search the contact database of thousands of industry contacts.
- Create your own Publishers Marketplace Web page with contact information,
career highlights, personnel, and proposals -- and even a checkbox
if you're looking for an agent.
- Post rights news and offerings, where agents, editors, and other licensees
can view your projects.
- Use the track books page to follow your titles' rankings at Amazon and
BN.com, as well as cross-check automatically against 12 bestseller lists.
- Monitor and analyze bestseller movement from around the country
easily through our analytical charts that identify Unique Bestsellers and
Consensus Bestsellers, and research the bestseller history of any
title.
- Use the book review index to view extracts from the day's book reviews
from over 60 newspapers and magazines (complete with hyperlinks to the
full text reviews), and search the book review database by author, title,
publisher, review source, date range, and more.
Please note:
We require a valid credit card number to complete your registration.
Your first month's membership fee will be charged to this card once
you submit the third page of this form. Unless and until you cancel
your Marketplace membership, you will be billed at monthly intervals
for our service.

and should be very quick to complete.

Your user name is a "log-in name" or "screen name," which is different from
your actual name. You will enter both your user name and password to log in to
Publishers Marketplace. Your user name, unlike your password, is not private. In fact,
if you create a Marketplace Web page, it will form part of your page's
address. For example, if your user name is "JaneDoe," the address of
your Web page will be "www.publishersmarketplace.com/members/JaneDoe/."
Please choose your user name carefully, as it is difficult to change.
