I'm an Associate Literary Agent at Foreword Literary, Inc. representing picture book through middle grade authors and illustrators.
My enthusiasm for children’s literature began as a young child, but grew exponentially when my two children (nicknamed Turkeybird and Littlebug) were born and shortly thereafter I began reviewing books at my top rated children’s book review site There’s A Book. For over five years now I've been involved professionally with books through print and online publications such as Women’s World and Parenting Magazine, as a member of the judging panels for The Cybils awards for fiction picture books, as well as locally by serving on the board of The Central Coast Writer’s Conference.
I'm also a middle grade writer with one completed novel, The Protectorate. In addition to that I'm an active member of SCBWI and can frequently be found on Twitter talking about anything from children’s books to the BBC’s Sherlock to my own parenting woes & joys.
Don't hesitate to reach out to chat with me on Twitter, I love to talk about books and just about anything except pitches for books (save that for your query!).
