Stephanie Hale has been writing for four years. She started out writing chick lit then decided she would enjoy reliving her high school years and tried her hand at young adult. Her second YA, REVENGE OF THE HOMECOMING QUEEN, won first place in the North Texas RWA Great Expectations Contest and immediately sparked interest with several agents, including her DREAM agent, Jenny Bent. An essay Stephanie submitted was also handpicked by Jenny Crusie and Bob Mayer for an RWA scholarship. Stephanie's dream agent, Jenny Bent, quickly sold REVENGE OF THE HOMECOMING QUEEN, and a sequel to the Penguin Imprint/Berkley Jam. Stephanie lived happily ever after. Sorry, I couldn't resist!
