And They’re Off!

Love – So many search, but what are we really looking for? What are the qualities to look for when placing bets on love and how are we sure they will pay off in the end when often times the stakes seem so high?

Sports photographer, Janey O’Neil dreams of a world where woman are groomed and trained like race horses to compete for men. In the dream her boyfriend Dwayne Schuster, a NFL safety, wagers her to win, but plays other women. Tired of the competition Janey wagers her own race with men to contend for her favor and gives Dwayne some well needed opposition.

The competition, the gambling and handicapping for love soon becomes meaningless when she learns of the Wild Horses that have strayed, escaped or even set free from the race. These Wild Horses roam free of love’s conditions, expectations, traditions and ultimatums for in the end only when a heart is free can it be true.

BEST-KNOWN PROJECTS
Narrative Non-Fiction - Ooh Baby Compound Me!

Pledging, hazing, beer bongs … that’s right, it’s the sometimes bewildering world of credit card membership.

Despite a good job in the fashion industry and even better intentions, Jennifer Ott finds herself in the unavoidable position of provoking the ire of either Uncle Sam or her creditors. She decides to pay her taxes, but finds out just how vindictive credit card companies can be.

Seen through the tears of frustration, these faceless corporations take on the appearance of college fraternities, their CEOs and presidents as capricious as characters from the movie Animal House.

Sure, these friendly frat brothers—intoxicated by their own good will (and sometimes other things)—offer a lot to entice us. We’re given entry into an elite society, power, identity, and some really great toga parties. And while the buzz from the drinking games has us in a stupor, all the debauchery seems like a good idea—like the American dream.

But then the bill comes due; and you really don’t want to piss off Kappa Beta with a late payment: “[They] stripped me naked and circled around me beside a blazing fire. They branded me with irons. The words ‘bad girl’ seared into my skin, making sure I would never outlive their scorn.”

By avoiding the jargon of economics books, “Ooh Baby Compound Me” captures what it’s really like to be at the mercy of the corporations that control our financial destinies.

Edge of Civilization -

What is the future of men, who have lost sight of the past?

For thirty years Earl lived in isolation miles from Las Vegas with little recollection of his past. One night a helicopter flew overhead and Earl saw it has a sign to find his way back to civilization.

So Earl journeyed into the desert carrying basic food supplies, whiskey and survival items found in his old locker. On his journey he experienced the history of mankind - a simple man looking for intelligent life, a young man soliciting faith and a gathering of people fighting oppression. It was a young woman name Elisabeth who rejuvenated his quest to seek a new place in this world.

Finding his way closer to civilization, he was picked up for vagrancy. Taken to an outreach for homeless veterans, Earl discovered his past was something even he couldn’t imagine. According of the US Army, Earl died in the Vietnam War and he no longer existed.
