Nancy Stauffer Associates is a boutique agency representing a small, select group of authors of literary fiction and literary narrative non-fiction.
Nancy Stauffer Cahoon began her career in book publishing in 1978, holding positions in the editorial, marketing, business, and subsidiary rights departments of The New York Times, McGraw-Hill, and Doubleday. Before founding Nancy Stauffer Associates in 1989, Mrs. Stauffer Cahoon held the position of Foreign and Performing Rights Director, Doubleday, and, later, Director, Subsidiary Rights, Doubleday, where she worked with a wide array of authors.
