She has a hot Latin lover, a German Shepherd dog, and a host of eclectic friends, family, and clients.

I have also just completed a mystery for middle school boys.

In my spare time I have bred and showed German Shepherd dogs and finished eleven champions. I am also a devoted hockey fan. Hockey is a big feature of the juvenile mystery.

I have served as a prosecutor, a criminal defense attorney and a judge, all in Miami, where I have resided for 35 years. I was born and raised in Central Ohio, was the first woman elected to the Columbus, Ohio board of Education, and the first woman to receive the Ohio Newspaper "Man of the year" award.

the third book in the mary magruder katz series is on its way to completion. This book takes place in a mysterious village in Vermont. Amazingly, I spend my summers in Vermont.
