Asking for Help
On entering the Hospital
Lord, ruler of heaven and earth,
I am asking for your help.
Please guide my doctors’ minds and hands,
that they my have the wisdom
to find my problem,
and know how to treat it.

Grant my nurses understanding
of their orders and
patience to answer my many questions.

I know that you, God, are in control.
If you can,
please help me to understand your ways,
grant me the strength
to accept your will.
