WECOME TO THE DARK SIDE OF THE HUMAN MIND. DARE I SAY THAT WE ALL MAY HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF IT IN US. ALL OF US HAVE SECRETS. WHEN YOU START TO READ THIS BOOK, SKELATONS WILL GUSH OUT OF THE CLOSET AT YOU. THEESE SKELATONS ARE REAL.

With the exception of the introduction, every chapter is a story. Some people may chose to read this book with rose colored glasses. Some people find some of the stories disturbing, they are detailed and they have happened to tens of thousands of people who need help but do not know how to find it. Society had made theese stories hard to talk about for some.I am proud of the victoms who have decided to become a survivor & fill the prisons with theese monsters where they belong. Any night of the week you can watch a TV show on theese topics but they are considered fiction, so they are acceptable to watch, even educational. Horror movies pull in millions of dollors, first at the box office, then on DVD's then on TV. This book is not only a biography but it is "True Crime", "Womens'Issues" and a "Horror" book. Abused: Living With Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, is a book for every person of every age to read. The book is timely because the Media is just starting to recognize PTSD. Our Soldiers, friends and family members are commiting suicide daily because they do not realize that they have PTSD and they do not know how to deal with the problem or find help. The book, ABUSED;Living With Posttraumatic Stress Disorder looks at PTSD from a psychological, physical, emotional and relational piont of view which makes the disorder easier to understand & get the help that is needed. This book has 356 pages and 29 chapters. ABUSED; Living With Posttaumatic Stress Disorder covers the topics of incest, child and clergy molestation, rape, date rape, being traumatized mentally and physically, kidnapping, the mafia, prostatution, spousal abuse, divorce, mistreatment by family members or friends, going to jail, being placed in a mental hospital, alter egos, suicidal tendencies, eating disorders, drug and alcohol addictions, loosing everything and still getting back on your own two feet. In the book ABUSED, you are told what PTSD feels like and how you may act. This book talks about how other people may treat you and the vast array of treatments and theropy that you can get to help you. Living with PTSD is living in two time zones; you are in the presant time and you are living in the time{s} of your trauma, you feel that you are all alone and that no one understands you. This book talks about how your mind and body feels. For incstance, you may feel like a large, king size, heavey, led blanket has you trapped underneath it; you are suffocating for air while you try to escape; you panic. PTSD keeps you in a confused state of mind; you are not sure if what you want to say is what other people are hearing. I have no degrees in psychiarty; my schooling is living fifty years at the School of Hard Knocks as a victum who became a SURVIVOR. I care enough about others whos' pain is so unbearable that I put on papper my excruciating, tortuous story to try to help you become a SURVIVOR too. PUBLISHER NEEDED - MOVIE MATERIAL.

"WOW! What a life you have had and how brave you are to share it with the public. I really think it will help those suffering from PTSD and all of the other issues that you have survived."
Susan R. - National Executive
It is unbeleivable! The way I feel and how I think was all in this book from the very beginning. Somehow, I did not think that other people had the same problems that I have. Reading this book gave me great comfort and understanding.
