As an editor at Harvest House Publishers, I'm looking for quality Christian fiction and non-fiction. Fiction should be character-driven and compelling. Non-fiction must address the "felt need" of a segment of the reading public. Our mission statement is: "To glorify God by providing high quality books and products that affirm biblical values, help people grow spiritually strong, and proclaim Jesus Christ as the answer to every human need."

As a writer, I'm looking for the right opportunities to continue the success I've had with my several previous books--two of which were published by Zondervan, two by Harper San Francisco, two by Harvest House, and one from Wesleyan Publishing House.My books are read by a broad spectrum of Christian readers. I write both fiction and non-fiction.

One current priority as a writer is a proposal I'm working one for a series of short, reader-friendly books for the "conservative soul."

I'm also interested in working with the right person as their co-author on a celebrity autobiography/memoir.

As an editor, my fiction projects have included the novels of BJ Hoff, Susan Meissner, Roxanne Henke, Brandt Dodson, Gilbert Morris, and George Bryan Polivka.

In non-fiction, I've acquired several books on a variety of topics from NFL MVP Shaun Alexander's autobiography to Allison Bottke's "Setting Boundaries for Your Adult Children" and many more. I routinely edit both fiction and non-fiction books acquired by Harvest House.

As a writer, my best-selling books include; 365 WWJD: Daily Answers to "What Would Jesus Do?" (75,000 sold) and Promises to Keep: Daily Devotions for Men Seeking Integrity (40,000 sold).

I spent 20 years in the retail end of our business, serving customers, helping them find the books they needed. For more than 15 years I've been an author and freelance editor. For the past seven years (and currently) I've worked as a senior editor at Harvest House.
