 Requirements: 
Bloomsbury is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our Academic Marketing department to manage the marketing efforts for our titles publishing in Visual Arts (including fashion, interior design, graphic design, architecture and photography).

Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience with a strong background in higher education and textbook marketing. This role requires someone who is organized, creative, and is experienced in digital marketing (email, social media, etc.)

The role will be office-based in New York City but will involve some travel to academic conferences.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be experienced in creating engaging email marketing campaigns directed at an academic audience.
• Be adept at planning and implementing the marketing of books publishing in Visual Arts
• Work closely with sales and editorial colleagues to achieve sales growth
• Gather and analyze data to improve marketing campaigns, and feedback to sales and editorial colleagues to provide US market insight
• Plan to attend 5-6 key academic conferences in relevant subject areas
• Project manage the design of promotional materials, such as catalogs and brochures
• Plan and execute social media strategies, including Twitter, Facebook, and relevant blogs
• Collaborate with academic marketing colleagues in the US and UK.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Organizational skills/ability to multi-task
• Adaptability
• Experience with Salesforce and marketing automation programs useful
• Copywriting
• Ability to travel several times per year
