 Requirements: 
Mid-sized literary agency seeks assistant to help owner with the day-to-day running of the business. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think quickly and independently are essential. Tasks include evaluating manuscripts, providing editorial feedback, communicating effectively via telephone and email, writing submission letters, reading royalty statements, processing client payments, tracking client contracts and payments, helping to generate ideas and to identify new talent, managing the office, and facilitating conference calls and scheduling. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills and a sense of humor. For the right candidate, there is absolutely room for growth.
