 Requirements: 
The associate editor will be an integral part of launching the children’s book list at Page Street Publishing, distributed by Macmillan and named by Publisher’s Weekly as one of the fastest growing companies in the business. The right candidate will learn and handle all editorial functions including acquisitions, copywriting, and assisting the publisher in this start up environment.

Candidates should demonstrate their passion for picture books with an ability to assess storytelling as well as quality illustration. Relevant experience in the children’s book industry is an asset, especially in bookstores. Comfort communicating both in large group settings as a presenter and one-on-one is a must.

The salary is $30,000 annually, with yearly reviews. Benefits include 80% of healthcare policy coverage, a healthy personal time off policy, and work-from-home Wednesdays.
