 Requirements: 
The International Sales Department is looking for a Sales Manager to manage print and digital sales, promotion, merchandising, and business development in Asia.

Responsibilities:
•Manages relationships and sales to wholesale, retail and online accounts throughout Asia.
•Delivers successful sales campaigns, in-store and digital merchandising plans, and sales reporting.
•Develops strategic sales and marketing plans tailored to the region, including front list merchandising and backlist promotions.
•Manages remote sales reps in China and Singapore to achieve sales targets and provide market feedback.
•Relays key title information, creates regional focus lists and territory goals for remote sales reps.
•Works with Sr. Sales Director to create business development strategy, growth plans, projections, special editions, and hit sales targets.
•Works with marketing and publicity team to develop local marketing, advertising and publicity campaigns, including international author tours.
•Identifies and grows new opportunities and assesses viability of potential customers to create new business.
•Travels 2-3 times per year to visit key customers in Asia plus attendance at 4 international book fairs.

Requirements:
•Five years of experience in a sales, marketing, and/or account management capacity at a book publisher
•Detail-oriented, well organized, able to set priorities and juggle multiple projects under pressure
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Must possess college degree or equivalent work experience
•Ability to travel internationally 20% of the year
