Sales Manager/Commission Reps
Time Home Entertainment is looking for an energetic and creative Sales Manager with the ability to motivate sales groups and support their sales efforts to meet our annual sales goals. They will oversee and direct sales in both the gift and independent book store market through commission groups. This position reports to the Executive Director, Business Development.

Responsibilities:

Supervise efforts of US gift and independent book store rep groups
Set annual sales goals for each group
Clear and concise communications between the groups and publisher
Monitoring individual and group performance by reviewing monthly/daily sales reports
Creating and preparing sales analysis identifying trends
Identifying key titles for each rep group/account
Attending rep vendor meetings and presenting new titles to rep groups and setting title goals
Participating in sales meetings with key accounts
Coordinating monthly commission payments
Overseeing THEI participation at regional gift shows
Participation and planning of NY Gift Show and recapping show results
Encouraging best sales practices with reps and soliciting feedback from reps and accounts

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years of sales experience within the publishing industry
Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sales presentations to large groups
Detail oriented
Strong analytical skills
Mastery of excel -both data entry and spreadsheet formulation, PowerPoint and Word
Travel required-up to 20%
