 Requirements: 
92nd Street Y is looking for an experienced PR pro and team leader who is passionate about culture, calm under pressure, naturally curious and committed to excellence to serve as Associate Director of Public & Media Relations. In this role, you would help to oversee the PR team at 92Y, which publicizes thousands of highly-acclaimed programs annually – from the renowned talks series and performing, literary and visual arts to family and community programs to global initiatives. The Assoc. Dir. acts as a senior member of 92Y’s integrated marketing/pr/web/social media team, consulting and collaborating with senior-level management in marketing and programming, overseeing everyday PR operations, working closely with the Director on institutional initiatives and reputation management, and publicizing his/her own portfolio of programs. The successful candidate must have: team-oriented management/supervisory experience (5+ years); proven ability to be both good-natured and effective under pressure; successful PR track record with an established arts or cultural institution; top-tier press contacts; excellent writing, editing and people skills; attention to detail and organizational skills; social media and content savvy/experience; and a well-developed sense of humor.
