 Requirements:
The role of Publisher at Kensington Publishing Corp. is a pivotal position in our Company. Marketing, Art, Publicity and Editorial are all directed and shaped by this person. We're looking for a person with many years of experience in publishing and the candidate must be at the top of their game in terms of their knowledge of the mass-market field and also have extensive experience with women's fiction. An extensive overall knowledge of the entire industry is imperative, especially with the rapidly changing marketplace. The Publisher will be part of our small Executive Management Team and will report to the CEO.

Kensington is very different than working for a Big 5 publisher. We are three generations deep in family ownership and are celebrating our 40th Anniversary. The Company is made up approximately 90 co-workers and close to 25% of them have been with us for over 20 years. It's not the type of firm where we have layers and layers of management. This is a hands-on position that requires tremendous creativity and people skills. We compete with the giants of this industry by employing the smartest and hardest working people in the business.

If you've have an extensive background in Editorial or Marketing and you've been thinking that working for a Company like Kensington would be of interest to you; please email me your resume.
