Random House is looking for a front-end web developer to join its precision marketing operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for a developer to work within the flagship imprint of the world's largest publishing company. Our team is looking for an exceptional web developer to create functional and beautiful digital marketing promotions, ranging from tried-and-true strategies, like email marketing, to testing out new tactics that arise from research and team brainstorms.

As a team member, you'll join a highly creative and curious team that develops and operates solutions for email marketing, real-time marketing, online analytics, consumer insights and research. You'll get to work on campaigns for authors like George RR Martin, Janet Evanovich, and David Mitchell, and will get to work with a team that takes an entrepreneurial approach to marketing books.

What you'll do:
� Create promotional websites, landing pages, and programs to support publicity and marketing campaigns for books and authors, as well as our own imprint's brand.
� Provide technical leadership for our website redesign, and drive enhancements to the product after launch.
� Create and maintain reusable JS/CSS libraries and components
� Produce HTML and dynamically generated email newsletters from templates
� Collaborate with team to research and develop web-based marketing automation tools

Required Qualifications:
� 2+ years experience in fast-paced working environment
� Very strong HTML/CSS skills. Familiar with CSS preprocessors (SASS or LESS) and JavaScript, PHP,
� Strong understanding of server setup, experience troubleshooting DNS and domain issues
� Strong understanding of WordPress and PHP, both in development and administration
� Experience creating sites for web content and mobile engagement
� Comfort with the Adobe CS
� Experience working with REST based APIs
