Your tasks
Waterbrook Multnomah, a division of the Crown Publishing Group, is currently seeking a Marketing Associate to join the Marketing team.

This position provides an opportunity to work with the Waterbrook Marketing team while assisting three senior marketers on title specific work, as well as take responsibility for marketing on some small titles.

Responsibilities include:
�Planning and communicating marketing campaigns in order to budget expectations. This includes booking ads, coordinating with the art team for materials, communicating activity to the sales and editorial teams, maintaining social media for that title and inputting all relevant information into the systems.
�Coordinating departmental marketing tools, including production of seasonal audio and copy-pack development.
�Managing content availability and quality of internal marketing systems
�Handling logistics of the marketing budget, including coding invoices, seeking approvals, submitting to AP and inputting in systems for tracking
�Maintaining departmental seasonal schedules, including setting meetings, developing necessary materials for those meetings, managing departmental seasonal deadlines.

Our requirements
The ideal candidate has a BA in marketing or a related field, as well as some relevant internship or working experience. Experience in book publishing is beneficial. Candidates should also be self-starters with impeccable attention to detail and possess a proactive and independent approach to work. The ideal candidate is savvy with social media and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Candidate experience should demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills and Experience:
�1 year work experience or equivalent internships
�Self-starter with exceptional work ethic
�Excellent organizational skills
�Strong people skills; strong communication skills both oral and written
�Proficient with Microsoft Office, social media and learning new systems
